Vicar of Antichrist:
How Francis’ Interreligious Lies betray the Gospel

The one in the middle isn’t a Christian either: The apostate Jorge Bergoglio, S.J.

Saturday, March 6, 2021, saw one of the “highlights” of Francis’ 3-day trip to Iraq. Gathered on the plain of Ur, the city from which God called Abram (see Gen 11:31), the apostate Argentinian Jesuit Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) led a group of clerics from different religions and sects in a so-called “interreligious encounter”. The stage was set, quite literally, in front of the ruins of what is believed to be Abraham’s house, with the pagan temple known as the Ziggurat of Ur looming behind it.

Although the encounter was supposed to include especially “Catholics”, Jews, and Muslims, no Jews ended up participating, reportedly due to the Iraqi government’s refusal to permit a Jewish delegation from Israel to enter the country. Think walls, not bridges. Francis did not say a word about the absence of the expected Jewish participants, perhaps lest the fraternal harmony of the moment be disturbed.

During the event, the false pope was not wearing his zucchetto (the white skull cap), which some have interpreted as a sign of deference to the Moslems. To be fair, however, it must be pointed out that it was quite windy that day and he may have simply meant to keep it from being blown away.

After an initial hymn, the ceremony (full video here) began with a chanted reading from the book of Genesis about Abram being called out of Ur to go to the land of promise, Canaan. Then followed a reading from the “Holy Koran”, as it was called, which was also chanted. “Praise to Allah” could be heard as Francis was comfortably ensconced on stage, following along with interest.

After several testimonies from members of different religions about living in peace and harmony, including a female adherent of “Mandaeism”, it was Francis’ turn to speak. Anyone who expected him to crank out all kinds of Naturalist lowest-common-denominator claptrap, was not disappointed, because the fake pope did not fail to deliver:

The address was filled with lies and half-truths, blasphemy and heresy. Bergoglio made everyone comfortable in his own religion, and he gave the impression that it really doesn’t matter what religion you belong to because God belongs to everyone and only cares that you believe in Him and get along with others. Liar!

We will now proceed to critically examine some of the many lies in Francis’ speech.

Francis, Vicar of Lies

The very first sentence in Francis’ address includes at least one direct lie. Speaking before an interreligious audience, Francis opens by saying: “This blessed place brings us back to our origins, to the sources of God’s work, to the birth of our religions.”

That Ur should indeed be a blessed place may be doubted, considering that God called Abram away from it because it was a cesspool of idolatry: “Your fathers dwelt of old on the other side of the river, Thare the father of Abraham, and Nachor: and they served strange gods” (Jos 24:2; cf. Gen 15:7).

However, what is most definitely a lie is the idea that Ur is the birthplace of “our religions”, by which the false pope means to include Islam and apostate (Talmudic) Judaism, and anyone else who acknowledges Abraham as his Patriarch. Islam did not exist until the seventh century A.D., when it was invented by Mohammed (570-633), who had been born in Mecca. Apostate Judaism is essentially tied to the rejection of Jesus Christ as the true Messiah, thus the earliest possible date to which one could tie it is Good Friday, 33 A.D., when Caiaphas the high priest definitively rejected Christ (see Mt 26:63-66). Whether Ur can be considered, in some loose and extended sense, as the cradle of the true Old Testament Judaism, which eventually flowered into Catholicism, is at least debatable.

The second of Francis’ lies can be found only three sentences later. Talking about God’s call of Abram, the papal impostor declares: “We are the fruits of that call and that journey.” By “we”, let us not forget, he is including Moslems and Talmudic Jews. Although there may be a physical linkage to Abraham in those Muslims and Jews that actually descended from him, any spiritual link is entirely absent in them and is present only in the members of the true religion, that is, in Catholics. How crucial that is can be seen in Jn 6:64: “It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing” (cf. Gal 6:15; Col 3:11; Rom 4; 1 Cor 7:19).

We must also remember that our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ Himself dismissed as insignificant and specious the Jews’ truthful claim that they were, biologically, the children of Abraham:

I know that you are the children of Abraham: but you seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do the things that you have seen with your father. They answered, and said to him: Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them: If you be the children of Abraham, do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill me, a man who have spoken the truth to you, which I have heard of God. This Abraham did not. You do the works of your father. They said therefore to him: We are not born of fornication: we have one Father, even God. Jesus therefore said to them: If God were your Father, you would indeed love me. For from God I proceeded, and came; for I came not of myself, but he sent me: Why do you not know my speech? Because you cannot hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. Amen, amen I say to you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death for ever. The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? and the prophets are dead. Whom dost thou make thyself? Jesus answered: If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father that glorifieth me, of whom you say that he is your God. And you have not known him, but I know him. And if I shall say that I know him not, I shall be like to you, a liar. But I do know him, and do keep his word. Abraham your father rejoiced that he might see my day: he saw it, and was glad.

(John 8:37-44,51-56; cf. Jn 6:64)

In an encyclical letter written in 1919, Pope Benedict XV quotes a German monk thus: “It is not only God who is our spiritual father but also all those whose wisdom and example teach us the truth and arouse us to cling strongly to the faith. Abraham is called the father of all believers because of his faith and obedience which are an example for all…” (Encyclical In Hac Tanta, n. 24).

Unlike in our ecumenical and interreligious age, the term “believer” in Catholic documents of ages past referred exclusively to those who possess the true Faith, not simply to anyone who happens to have a religious belief. Hence St. Paul the Apostle explicitly calls those who do not believe in the Gospel the “children of unbelief” (Eph 5:6), not excepting the apostate Jews, telling the Romans that “because of unbelief they were broken off” (Rom 11:20; cf. Mk 6:6).

Abraham is only the father of all true believers, then, not the father of all religious people who claim him as their patriarch.

Our Blessed Lord is Himself a descendant of Abraham (see Mt 1:1-16), and He took on our human nature so “that He might make His brothers according to the flesh partakers of the divine nature, through sanctifying grace in this earthly exile, in heaven through the joys of eternal bliss” (Pope Pius XII, Encyclical Mystici Corporis, n. 24). That is why St. Paul says to the Galatians: “For you are all the children of God by faith, in Christ Jesus. And if you be Christ’s, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise” (Gal 3:26,29).

These are beautiful truths, but of course Francis chose not to enunciate any of them. Instead, he peddled the idea that Mohammedans and Talmudists all have Abraham for their father and are the fruit of God’s promise. He once again used the opportunity to confirm unbelievers in their unbelief. Consider how hateful a thing that is in light of the divine words of the Savior: “He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned” (Mk 16:16). Bergoglio is a spiritual criminal!

The “Pope” then elaborates on his second lie and introduces a third one, saying:

God asked Abraham to raise his eyes to heaven and to count its stars (cf. Gen 15:5). In those stars, he saw the promise of his descendants; he saw us. Today we, Jews, Christians and Muslims, together with our brothers and sisters of other religions, honour our father Abraham by doing as he did: we look up to heaven and we journey on earth.

(italics given)

Apostasy! Blasphemy!

Abraham is obviously not honored by those who refuse to accept the Redeemer promised to come from his seed! It is precisely his faith that justified Abraham and that his true (spiritual) children imitate, according to St. Paul: “Therefore is it of faith, that according to grace the promise might be firm to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all” (Rom 4:16).

God didn’t call Abraham to journey for journeying’s sake. The whole point of God calling Abraham to be the father of a specially-chosen people was for God to set a people aside to whom He would reveal Himself and from whom would ultimately come the Redeemer: “And there shall come forth a rod out of the root of Jesse, and a flower shall rise up out of his root” (Is 11:1); He is “Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham” (Mt 11:1). It is in that sense that “salvation is of the Jews” (Jn 4:22).

Leaving aside subjective dispositions and personal intentions, “of which God alone is the Judge” (Pope St. Pius X, Encyclical Pascendi, n. 3), it is therefore ludicrous, blasphemous, and heretical for Francis to claim that Talmudic Jews and Mohammedans are the true heirs of Abraham along with Catholics. Again, it is by being baptized into Christ that people become the true progeny of Abraham, regardless of their fleshly descent: “For you are all the children of God by faith, in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized in Christ, have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you be Christ’s, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise” (Gal 3:26-29). There is no other way to be a true child of Abraham than to be a Catholic!

Francis himself knows this very well, as he demonstrated a mere two days after returning from Iraq, when he spoke about his trip during his Wednesday Audience — this time addressing Catholics (well, Novus Ordos): “Abraham’s hope, and that of his descendants, is fulfilled … in Jesus, the Son that God the Father did not spare, but gave for everyone’s salvation: through His death and resurrection, He opened the way to the promised land, to that new life where tears are dried, wounds are healed, brothers and sisters are reconciled” (General Audience, Mar. 10, 2021).

Yet, that is most definitely not the message Francis sent to his interreligious audience this past Saturday in Ur. On the contrary, he was saying loudly and clearly that there are different ways of being a child of Abraham — not only by being Christian, Jewish, or Muslim but even by being adherents “of other religions”. As Pope St. Pius X said: “Indeed, Modernists do not deny, but actually maintain, some confusedly, others frankly, that all religions are true” (Pascendi, n. 14).

Francis’ False Heaven

In his address, Francis was struggling hard to come up with some kind of “unifying” message, a message that he had to read into the biblical text somehow, into the story of Abraham’s call. When he met with a Muslim imam for the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity in the United Arab Emirates two years ago, Francis drew from the story of Noah to come up with a cringeworthy metaphor of the “Ark of Fraternity” that we must supposedly all enter. (No mention was made, of course, of the Ark of Salvation, which is the Church.)

This time, Bergoglio had to come up with a metaphor that relates to Abraham and his call. He chose the stars in the sky that God had asked Abram to look at, which allows him to talk about “looking to heaven” — thereby exploiting, of course, an ambiguity in the word “heaven”, which can also mean sky.

Novus Ordos are quite creative with the images they use and the stuff they manage to pull out of a text. Take a look at what Francis “found” in the passage of Gen 15:5, which merely reads: “And he brought him forth abroad, and said to him: Look up to heaven and number the stars, if thou canst. And he said to him: So shall thy seed be.” Here is what the imposter pope does with it:

Thousands of years later, as we look up to the same sky, those same stars appear. They illumine the darkest nights because they shine together.  Heaven thus imparts a message of unity: the Almighty above invites us never to separate ourselves from our neighbours. The otherness of God points us towards others, towards our brothers and sisters. Yet if we want to preserve fraternity, we must not lose sight of heaven. May we – the descendants of Abraham and the representatives of different religions – sense that, above all, we have this role: to help our brothers and sisters to raise their eyes and prayers to heaven. We all need this because we are not self-sufficient. Man is not omnipotent; we cannot make it on our own. If we exclude God, we end up worshiping the things of this earth. Worldly goods, which lead so many people to be unconcerned with God and others, are not the reason why we journey on earth. We raise our eyes to heaven in order to raise ourselves from the depths of our vanity; we serve God in order to be set free from enslavement to our egos, because God urges us to love. This is true religiosity: to worship God and to love our neighbour. In today’s world, which often forgets or presents distorted images of the Most High, believers are called to bear witness to his goodness, to show his paternity through our fraternity.

(italics given)

Blasphemy! What Bergoglio has done here is utterly outrageous!

First, without getting down into the nitty-gritty of every syllable spoken, let’s look at the big picture: What message is the fake pope communicating? Clearly, he is saying that all religions — or at least all religions he is addressing — have a divinely-appointed role or commission; that they all give access to God and to heaven, that is, to the community of salvation, more or less equally; and that we must pray to God in our respective religions to be unified in a common brotherhood because we can’t make it without God’s help.

Bergoglio says all of us have “to help our brothers and sisters to raise their eyes and prayers to heaven”. That, in a certain sense, is indeed the Divine Commission (see Mt 28:19-20; Mk 16:15-16), but it was given exclusively to Catholics (Christ’s true disciples), not to the apostate Jews or to Muslims, much less to Pagans.

In his usual deceptive style, Francis notes that “if we want to preserve fraternity, we must not lose sight of heaven.” Taken by itself, that statement is entirely orthodox and could have been penned by St. Pius X. The “heaven” Francis is referring to, however, is deliberately ambiguous because he has to make it work for Jews, Muslims, and others as well. Naturally, he says nothing about the only way to Heaven, which is not through belief in Abraham or through some kind of pointless “journeying” but through Jesus Christ and His Mystical Body: “Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me” (Jn 14:6).

Likewise, Francis makes no mention whatsoever of the fact that there can be no spiritual raising of one’s eyes to heaven without supernatural grace, obtained for us by the One Mediator: “For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus: Who gave himself a redemption for all, a testimony in due times” (1 Tim 2:5-6). Christ Himself told His disciples how dependent they are on Him: “I am the vine: you the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing” (Jn 15:5).

Also, it probably does not even need to be mentioned but Francis is once more contradicting himself. He preaches a different set of ideas to different people, depending on what his audience believes. So in the above quote he speaks about how we need God and can’t “make it” on our own, how we end up worshipping creatures when we don’t worship the Creator, etc., and yet at other times he has no problem telling the world that “good” atheists go to Heaven.

Perhaps they too worship the multi-religious “Abrahamic god”.

Bergoglian Blasphemies

“This is true religiosity”, says Bergoglio, “to worship God and to love our neighbour”. But he conspicuously omits an inconvenient but crucial detail, namely, the fact that “God is a spirit; and they that adore him, must adore him in spirit and in truth” (Jn 4:24). Now that is a principle that blows to pieces Francis’ entire multi-religious, rainbow-colored polyhedron! Objective religious truth has no place in the false Bergoglian gospel.

How ironic — and how audacious! — that in the same breath that he endorses all religions, the false pope warns against presenting “distorted images of the Most High”! But then that is often how best to conceal one’s scheming: by hiding it in plain sight.

Having thus blasphemed the true God at some length, Francis proceeds to denounce… blasphemy! And not just any degree of blasphemy but the greatest possible degree! Can you guess what he has in mind? He is quite explicit about it: “…[T]he greatest blasphemy is to profane [God’s] name by hating our brothers and sisters.” There it is! For Francis, there is no greater blasphemy than to hate human beings!

Of course it is itself blasphemous to say such a thing. For while it is sinful to hate others, it is not blasphemy, and certainly not the greatest type: “Blasphemy is any speech or gesture that contains contempt for or insult to God. … Blasphemy may tend directly against God, or only indirectly, i.e., when the Saints or sacred things are reviled” (Rev. Heribert Jone, Moral Theology [Westminster, MD: The Newman Press, 1959], n. 190 I., p. 119).

The reason why Francis considers hatred of one’s fellow man to be blasphemous is that he is a Naturalist, and to him every human being is sacred by nature. The reason why he considers it the greatest blasphemy, is that he ultimately worships man as God. On Jan. 1, 2020, Francis had voiced the same kind of error when he claimed: “Every form of violence inflicted upon a woman is a blasphemy against God, who was born of a woman.”

Religion and Terrorism

The Argentinian Jesuit continues: “Hostility, extremism and violence are not born of a religious heart: they are betrayals of religion.” Notice how he shrewdly omits to differentiate between religions. He simply declares that this is so for all religions. What evidence does he give for this claim? None, of course. He merely makes the assertion — a so-called “ipse dixit” — and implies that because he asserts it so categorically, it must be true and requires everyone’s assent. However, the simple truth is, of course: Whether or not “hostility, extremism and violence” are a “betrayal” of religion or not… depends on the religion.

In Francis’ discourse, however, facts don’t matter, at least not when they get in the way of the ideology that is being pushed. It’s not possible to have interreligious encounters when your own message is that there is no salvation outside your religion, and when you have to accuse others of teaching profane, perverted, and erroneous doctrines that lead souls to hell and justify hatred and violence.

Francis further: “We believers cannot be silent when terrorism abuses religion….” Again, there is no “we believers”; and whether Islamic terrorism is an abuse of Islam or its correct interpretation and implementation, is at least debatable, especially in light of the activities of its founder Mohammed. In any case, it will be of little consolation to the surviving relatives of the victims of Islamic terrorism to know that their kinsmen were killed by terrorists who weren’t practicing the “real” Islam.

More Bergoglian Lies

At this point, we have clearly lost track of the number of lies and blasphemies Francis has divulged in his address. Here come a few more:

To love and protect holy places, therefore, is an existential necessity, in memory of our father Abraham, who in various places raised to heaven altars of the Lord (cf. Gen 12:7.8; 13:18; 22:9). May the great Patriarch help us to make our respective sacred places oases of peace and encounter for all! By his fidelity to God, Abraham became a blessing for all peoples (cf. Gen 12:3); may our presence here today, in his footsteps, be a sign of blessing and hope for Iraq, for the Middle East and for the whole world. Heaven has not grown weary of the earth: God loves every people, every one of his daughters and sons! Let us never tire of looking up to heaven, of looking up to those same stars that, in his day, our father Abraham contemplated.

(italics given)

Again we see the mixing of the different religions, as if it were all the same and God were the Founder of them all. Talk about blasphemy!

Objective truth is out the window — in Bergoglio’s address, subjectivism reigns supreme. Abraham is not “our” father, he is the spiritual father only of Catholics, although that’s obviously not what the other religions believe. Mosques are not “holy places”, although of course the adherents of Islam believe them to be. The idea of the Catholic sanctuary is not to be a “place of encounter for all”. The apostate Jesuit appeals to Abraham’s fidelity, but instead of exhorting Jews and Muslims to imitate him in that fidelity by accepting the Gospel (cf. Jn 8:56), he hopes for a blessing without them being faithful.

Francis’ plea for a continued “looking up to heaven” is thoroughly vapid, as it has no real content.

Let it not be said, however, that Francis didn’t condemn idolatry. In fact, he denounced “the idolatry of money, for it closes us in on ourselves and creates chasms of inequality that engulf humanity.” It would have been nice, though very uncharacteristic for the Argentinian pseudo-pope, to say a few words against the idolatry of worshipping false gods, at least in a footnote. That would have been an extremely Abrahamic thing to do, since God called Abram out of idolatrous Ur, where Bergoglio’s motley crew was now gathered.

Peace without the Prince of Peace?

Next, Francis begins focusing on peace and how to achieve it. Wholly neglecting the fact that “concern for common interests or affinities of nature weigh very little against the passions and wild desires of the heart” (Pope St. Pius X, Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique), Francis attempts to obtain peace without supernatural grace, without the “Prince of Peace” (Is 9:6), who alone gives peace “not as the world giveth” (Jn 14:27).

But “the peace of Christ … is the only true peace”, Pope Pius XI exclaimed in his Encyclical Ubi Arcano (n. 37), and laid out how to achieve it, concluding:

It is apparent from these considerations that true peace, the peace of Christ, is impossible unless we are willing and ready to accept the fundamental principles of Christianity, unless we are willing to observe the teachings and obey the law of Christ, both in public and private life. If this were done, then society being placed at last on a sound foundation, the Church would be able, in the exercise of its divinely given ministry and by means of the teaching authority which results therefrom, to protect all the rights of God [!] over men and nations.

It is possible to sum up all We have said in one word, “the Kingdom of Christ.” For Jesus Christ reigns over the minds of individuals by His teachings, in their hearts by His love, in each one’s life by the living according to His law and the imitating of His example. Jesus reigns over the family when it, modeled after the holy ideals of the sacrament of matrimony instituted by Christ, maintains unspotted its true character of sanctuary. In such a sanctuary of love, parental authority is fashioned after the authority of God, the Father, from Whom, as a matter of fact, it originates and after which even it is named. (Ephesians iii, 15) The obedience of the children imitates that of the Divine Child of Nazareth, and the whole family life is inspired by the sacred ideals of the Holy Family. Finally, Jesus Christ reigns over society when men recognize and reverence the sovereignty of Christ, when they accept the divine origin and control over all social forces, a recognition which is the basis of the right to command for those in authority and of the duty to obey for those who are subjects, a duty which cannot but ennoble all who live up to its demands. Christ reigns where the position in society which He Himself has assigned to His Church is recognized, for He bestowed on the Church the status and the constitution of a society which, by reason of the perfect ends which it is called upon to attain, must be held to be supreme in its own sphere; He also made her the depository and interpreter of His divine teachings, and, by consequence, the teacher and guide of every other society whatsoever, not of course in the sense that she should abstract in the least from their authority, each in its own sphere supreme, but that she should really perfect their authority, just as divine grace perfects human nature, and should give to them the assistance necessary for men to attain their true final end, eternal happiness, and by that very fact make them the more deserving and certain promoters of their happiness here below.

It is, therefore, a fact which cannot be questioned that the true peace of Christ can only exist in the Kingdom of Christ — “the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ.” It is no less unquestionable that, in doing all we can to bring about the re-establishment of Christ’s kingdom, we will be working most effectively toward a lasting world peace.

(Pope Pius XI, Encyclical Ubi Arcano, nn. 47-49; underlining added.)

In light of the above, it is easy to see why genuine missionary activity is so important, why for two millennia the Church produced countless holy men and women who were willing to devote their whole lives to the preaching of the Gospel to people in foreign lands. Some of them even paid the ultimate price, even in the face of the most cruel tortures, in order to convert souls to Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church. That is how much love they had, for God and for their fellow men: “Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (Jn 15:13).

All of that went out the window with the the Second Vatican Council (1962-65). Religious liberty and the so-called “rights of man” were enthroned in place of the Sovereign Kingship of Christ and the rights of God. Evangelization gave way to endless “dialogue”; the bonds of supernatural charity were neglected for the sake of a Masonic “fraternity”. Missionary activity became more of a matter of building homes and planting trees than of bringing the supernatural Gospel to souls so that they would be regenerated in sanctifying grace unto a blessed eternity and for the glory of God.

Francis’ search for peace by means of Naturalist fraternity is bound to fail, therefore, since God’s grace is necessary to overcome sin and our inherent inclination to sin (concupiscence).

“Them” and “Us”

In peddling his notion of peace without Christ, the false pope argues: “There will be no peace as long as we see others as them and not us. There will be no peace as long as our alliances are against others, for alliances of some against others only increase divisions” (italics given). Such is music to the Naturalist ear; however, it is poison for the soul, as St. Paul bears witness:

Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God saith: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, Go out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: And I will receive you; and I will be a Father to you; and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

(2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

Could there be a stronger divine endorsement of an us-versus-them mentality than this?!

The true Gospel teaches us that the faithful children of God separate themselves from the world: “Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one’s self unspotted from this world” (Jas 1:27); “If any man come to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him, God speed you” (2 Jn 10).

Already in the Old Covenant, God separated the Chosen People from the rest of the nations. In the New Covenant, there is still a Chosen People, but it is no longer based on a physical link with Abraham but a spiritual one, through Christ: “There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you be Christ’s, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise” (Gal 3:28-29).

Our Blessed Lord Himself taught an us-versus-them doctrine directly: “For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household” (Mt 10:35-36); “He that is not with me, is against me: and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth” (Mt 12:30). Clearly, a natural fraternity is not the highest good — it has to yield to the demands of the Gospel!

The ultimate us-versus-them scenario in Sacred Scripture is, of course, the General Judgment at the end of time, when Jesus Christ will separate the sheep from the goats:

And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty. And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.

(Matthew 25:31-33; see also Apoc 20:15)

Thus the matter is frightfully clear: Bergoglio is preaching a false gospel, one that is diametrically opposed to Divine Revelation. He is truly preparing the way for the Antichrist!

Granted, an absolute and total separation from all unbelievers is not possible, for “otherwise you must needs go out of this world” (1 Cor 5:10); but neither is it necessary. Traditional Catholic moral theology provides the proper guidance on this, but the details are of no concern here. It suffices to point out the general principle, namely, that there are

communications with unbelievers that can easily corrupt faith, the less dangerous being communication in matters that are not religious, and the more dangerous being communication in religious matters. (a) Non-religious or civil communication is association with non-Catholics in secular affairs, such as business, social life, education, politics. (b) Religious communication is association with non-Catholics in sacred services or divine worship.

(Rev. John A. McHugh & Rev. Charles J. Callan, Moral Theology, vol. 1 [New York, NY: Joseph F. Wagner, 1958], n. 882. Available electronically here.)

And yet, Francis preaches fraternal relations not only in non-religious matters but even in religious ones!

In that he is merely following, of course, his fake papal predecessors, especially John Paul II (r. 1978-2005), who taught that there ought to be not only a rapprochement with Protestants but also a “coming closer together with the representatives of the non-Christian religions, an activity expressed through dialogue, contacts, prayer in common, investigation of the treasures of human spirituality, in which, as we know well, the members of these religions also are not lacking” (Encyclical Redemptor Hominis, n. 6; underlining added).

Yes, “Saint” John Paul taught that one could and should pray not merely with Protestants, who at least believe in the Holy Trinity, but even with “non-Christians”! That, ladies and gentlemen, is the Vatican II religion — it is not Roman Catholicism. Something that is a great danger to the Faith and to be avoided cannot suddenly become laudable and necessary!

True Prophecy meets False Prophet

As we wade further through the text of Bergoglio’s address, we encounter yet another lie: “An ancient prophecy says that the peoples ‘shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks’ (Is 2:4). This prophecy has not been fulfilled; on the contrary, swords and spears have turned into missiles and bombs”, the Argentinian Jesuit asserts. But is that true? Is the world really still waiting for the fulfillment of Isaias’ prophecy, despite the fact that the Prince of Peace came 2,000 years ago?

Not quite. The key to understanding Isaias 2:4, which is echoed in Micheas 4:3, lies in realizing that the prophecy is not foretelling an earthly peace but the spiritual peace of sanctifying grace and a clean conscience that can only be found within the Catholic Church:

No happy age of universal disarmament and mutual trust has ever in literal fact graced the pages of history. But the prophecy does not speak of material good things. The promise of the New Testament is Eternal Life, and the spiritual blessings which lead to it. And in fact the Church is in glad and quiet possession of infallible truth which no error can endanger, and of sanctifying graces which neither unworthy ministers can impede nor human frailty exhaust. Thus in the indefectible holiness of the Church of Christ, each Christian finds that heavenly peace which the world can neither give nor take away.

(Dom Bernard Orchard, O.S.B., ed., A Catholic Commentary on Holy Scripture [London: Thomas Nelson and Sons, 1953], n. 535b, p. 674)

So once again Francis reveals himself to be a Naturalist, and his subsequent comments only confirm this: “From where, then, can the journey of peace begin? From the decision not to have enemies. Anyone with the courage to look at the stars, anyone who believes in God, has no enemies to fight.”

This is the typical Bergoglian greeting-card spirituality. Notice that the papal impostor does not refer to God’s grace as the necessary starting point for peace. And how could he, considering that he is addressing a multi-religious audience?

Not Against Anyone but For Everyone?

Francis continues, cranking out more inane bromides:

He or she has only one enemy to face, an enemy that stands at the door of the heart and knocks to enter. That enemy is hatred. While some try to have enemies more than to be friends, while many seek their own profit at the expense of others, those who look at the stars of the promise, those who follow the ways of God, cannot be against someone, but for everyone.

(italics given)

While genuine hatred is certainly a mortal sin, and sin is man’s greatest enemy, it simply does not follow that we can never be “against” someone, since mere opposition does not equal, or even have to entail, hatred. Opposition is one thing; hatred another. Opposition can arise from hatred, but it can also arise from charity:

Charity is a supernatural virtue which induces us to love God above all things and our neighbors as ourselves for the love of God. Thus, after God we ought to love our neighbor as ourselves, and this not just in any way, but for the love of God and in obedience to His law. And now, what is it to love? Amare est velle bonum, replies the philosopher. “To love is to wish good to him whom we love.” To whom does charity command us to wish good? To our neighbor, that is to say, not to this or that man only, but to everyone. What is that good which true love wishes? First of all supernatural good, then goods of the natural order which are not incompatible with it. All this is included in the phrase “for the love of God.”

It follows, therefore, that we can love our neighbor when displeasing him, when opposing him, when causing him some material injury, and even, on certain occasions, when depriving him of life; in short, all is reduced to this: Whether in the instance where we displease, oppose, or humiliate him, it is or is not for his own good, or for the good of someone whose rights are superior to his, or simply for the greater service of God.

If it is shown that in displeasing or offending our neighbor we act for his good, it is evident that we love him, even when opposing or crossing him. The physician cauterizing his patient or cutting off his gangrened limb may nonetheless love him. When we correct the wicked by restraining or by punishing them, we do nonetheless love them. This is charity–and perfect charity.

Another reality check for Francis’ ridiculous idea that true believers can never oppose anyone is delivered by Pope Leo XIII:

Let Us then show you masonry as an enemy of God, Church, and country. Recognize it as such once and for all, and with all the weapons which reason, conscience, and faith put in your hands, defend yourselves from such a proud foe. Let no one be taken in by its attractive appearance or allured by its promises; do not be seduced by its enticements or frightened by its threats. Remember that Christianity and masonry are essentially irreconcilable, such that to join one is to divorce the other. You can no longer ignore such incompatibility between Catholic and mason, beloved children: you have been warned openly by Our predecessors, and We have loudly repeated the warning.

(Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Custodi Di Quella Fede, n. 10; underlining added.)

Real Catholic truth from a real Catholic Pope is so refreshing!

The Jesuit antipope continues to blather on for a little bit, but we can stop here.

“Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ?”

Overall, we can say that Francis’ address to the “Children of Abraham” in Ur was filled to the brim with lies. Thus in his discourse there can be found an uncanny parallel to that of the Jews arguing with Christ precisely about being children of Abraham. Our Blessed Lord’s indictment of the Jews resonates in our own day as a testimony against Bergoglio and his co-religionists: “If you be the children of Abraham, do the works of Abraham. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof” (Jn 8:39,44).

The St. John who wrote the fourth Gospel is the same St. John who wrote the three canonical epistles bearing his name, in the first of which he minces no words about those liars who deny the Son of God: “Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father, and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. He that confesseth the Son, hath the Father also” (1 Jn 2:22-23).

Was there a confession of Jesus Christ, of God the Son, at the interreligious encounter at Ur? Hardly. Rather, the meeting culminated in a blasphemous so-called “Prayer of the Children of Abraham” that was recited by another speaker, addressed to “our Creator”. It is blasphemous because it is so generic that it denies, by its silence, various truths of the Faith, especially that of the Holy Trinity, and it is not offered in the Name of Jesus Christ, the One Mediator. That is crucial since the only way to the Father is through His Son: “Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me” (Jn 14:6).

There is no question that Francis is leading the Great Apostasy and that we are in apocalyptic times. “Antichrist” is not too strong a term to describe the events we have been witnessing. The Great Lie being peddled now is that there are several legitimate “Abrahamic religions”, all of which believe in and adore the same true God. Indeed, construction of an “Abrahamic Family House” is already being planned. But “he who does not know [the] Trinity does not know the nature of the Godhead”, the great exegete Fr. Cornelius a Lapide (1567-1637) observes, adding that “if you take away one person you do away with the Godhead altogether” (The Great Commentary: Saint John’s Epistles, p. 117).

Once the Great Lie is firmly established in the hearts and minds of men, it will be quick and easy to dismiss the doctrinal differences between these “Abrahamic religions” as nothing more than accidentals, mere trifles we ought not to let stand in the way of the essential and metaphysical unity of these religions. If that isn’t the ultimate dissolution of the Gospel! “And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world” (1 Jn 4:3).

The Religion of the Lowest Common Denominator

It is obvious that “Pope” Francis is willing to sacrifice the divinely-revealed truth — and thus crucify Christ all over again — for a merely temporal good. He is willing to sacrifice the Church’s supernatural doctrine for the sake of a natural fraternity.

Human suffering, even war, is not the greatest evil. The greatest evil is sin, and it is to be feared above all things, for it leads to eternal damnation: “And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will shew you whom you shall fear: fear ye him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear him” (Lk 12:4-5).

It should shock people all the more, therefore, that Bergoglio would put natural brotherhood above the Gospel. Clearly, his first loyalty is to human brotherhood rather than to the revealed truth of God! He is putting man above God! Alas, such has been the way of the Vatican II Church since the 1960s.

Francis’ lowest-common-denominator preaching is a slippery slope. Where does it end? Well, what is the lowest possible common denominator? Clearly, it is each individual’s humanity. That is something we all have in common, and it is the only thing we have in common necessarily. Thus, 55 years after Vatican II, that is where they are now at: They have arrived at the level of mere humanity, and they are turning that into a religion all its own. No doubt it will be the religion of the Antichrist, being the epitome of Naturalism!

When in 1910 Pope St. Pius X condemned the French Sillonist movement, His Holiness criticized their “notion of Fraternity which they found on the love of common interest or, beyond all philosophies and religions, on the mere notion of humanity, thus embracing with an equal love and tolerance all human beings and their miseries, whether these are intellectual, moral, or physical and temporal” (Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique).

While it is certainly true that all humans share in the same humanity and truly are, ultimately, biological brothers and sisters, Pope Pius X pointed out that Catholics cannot simply leave their fellow-men in the darkness of their errors:

But Catholic doctrine tells us that the primary duty of charity does not lie in the toleration of false ideas, however sincere they may be, nor in the theoretical or practical indifference towards the errors and vices in which we see our brethren plunged, but in the zeal for their intellectual and moral improvement as well as for their material well-being. Catholic doctrine further tells us that love for our neighbor flows from our love for God, Who is Father to all, and goal of the whole human family; and in Jesus Christ whose members we are, to the point that in doing good to others we are doing good to Jesus Christ Himself. Any other kind of love is sheer illusion, sterile and fleeting.

Indeed, we have the human experience of pagan and secular societies of ages past to show that concern for common interests or affinities of nature weigh very little against the passions and wild desires of the heart. No, Venerable Brethren, there is no genuine fraternity outside Christian charity. Through the love of God and His Son Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Christian charity embraces all men, comforts all, and leads all to the same faith and same heavenly happiness.

By separating fraternity from Christian charity thus understood, Democracy, far from being a progress, would mean a disastrous step backwards for civilization. If, as We desire with all Our heart, the highest possible peak of well being for society and its members is to be attained through fraternity or, as it is also called, universal solidarity, all minds must be united in the knowledge of Truth, all wills united in morality, and all hearts in the love of God and His Son Jesus Christ. But this union is attainable only by Catholic charity, and that is why Catholic charity alone can lead the people in the march of progress towards the ideal civilization.

(Pope St. Pius X, Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique; underlining added.)

Clearly, Saint Pius X had no tolerance for Bergoglio-style fraternity!

The fake fraternity preached by Francis has a merely earthly goal: peaceful coexistence for members of all religions through liberty, equality, fraternity. By contrast, the genuine Christian fraternity the real Catholic Church preaches has an earthly but, more importantly, also a supernatural goal: for all men to be peacefully united not merely in their humanity but in the true religion, subjecting themselves to the sweet yoke of Christ (cf. Mt 11:30) and His Church, “the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Tim 3:15), so that through supernatural Faith, hope, and charity, aided by God’s grace, they will journey to a blessed eternity in the Beatific Vision.

Hence St. Maximus the Confessor wrote that “greater indeed is the paternity of Christ than that of blood, for the fraternity of blood touches the likeness only of the body; the fraternity of Christ, however, conveys unanimity of heart and spirit, as is written: One was the heart and one the spirit of the multitude of believers” (quoted in Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Reputantibus, n. 5).

Peace on earth is obviously a good thing, and much to be desired; but see at what price Francis is trying to obtain it: at the price of preaching a false gospel (cf. Gal 1:8-9), an anti-gospel that tells Jews and Moslems that they can be saved in their respective religions, that God endorses their religions (remember the Abu Dhabi heresy!), that God has given them the task of helping “our brothers and sisters to raise their eyes and prayers to heaven”! These are so many lies — from the father of lies!

Concluding Thoughts

It was most fitting that Francis’ interfaith shenanigans should take place in Ur, part of ancient Babylon. Recall the harlot described in the book of the Apocalypse (Revelation), also known as the “Whore of Babylon”. In Sacred Scripture, fornication is often used as a figure of speech for idolatry, for being unfaithful to one’s covenant with God:

And [the angel] took me away in spirit into the desert. And I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was clothed round about with purple and scarlet, and gilt with gold, and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of the abomination and filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: A mystery; Babylon the great, the mother of the fornications, and the abominations of the earth. And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And I wondered, when I had seen her, with great admiration.

(Apoc 17:3-6)

How anyone can still believe that this blaspheming apostate Bergoglio is the head of the Catholic Church and the Vicar of Christ, defies all understanding. “Woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel”, St. Paul told the Corinthians (1 Cor 9:16). Instead of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Francis preaches Abraham, and a very distorted version of the holy patriarch at that.

Genuine Catholics, by contrast, “preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews indeed a stumblingblock, and unto the Gentiles foolishness” (1 Cor 1:23) because “there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
