An eye-opening video clip…

Benedict XVI vs. Francis?
Don’t Fall for the False Opposition!

We live in times of great deceit. Deception and lies have always been the way of the evil one, beginning with the serpent in the Garden of Eden (see Gen 3:1-5): “…for he is a liar, and the father thereof” (Jn 8:44). It goes without saying, then, that deception and lies will also be part of the devil’s final act.

In St. Matthew’s Gospel, Our Lord tells us that before He returns, the deception — what St. Paul calls the “operation of error” (2 Thess 2:10) — will be so great that even the elect would be deceived if this were possible: “For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect” (Mt 24:24). We must all be on our guard, therefore, because the devil’s last hurrah will involve the greatest trickery he will ever have pulled off.

This topic was discussed somewhat in our last full-length podcast, TRADCAST 026. As it is of great practical significance, we have now excerpted the relevant audio and made it into a video clip, with the intent that it should reach so many more people. You can view it below or watch it on YouTube using this link:

Keep in mind that, as Fr. Frederick Faber pointed out in 1861, people with good intentions will be doing the work of the Antichrist. To escape the deception it will not suffice, therefore, to simply look for people who mean well, who are sincerely trying to please God, or who seem holy. Nor will deliberately remaining in ignorance be an acceptable course of action.

We produced this video clip with much time and great effort. May it help to open the eyes of many and be a blessing to all. Please share it far and wide!
