New Donor Gifts for June
& Fundraising Update
Friends and Supporters of Novus Ordo Watch:
Here is a quick update on our fundraising efforts for the current year. In a nutshell:
- Donations slowed down in the month of May
- We fell short of the average monthly amount needed by about $300
- Due to higher donations earlier in the year, however, we are still on track to meet our annual goal of $50,000
- The current year-to-date total raised is $24,690
You may recall that our update a month ago was a jubilant “things are going great”, but it seems that a number of people took that to mean that their support was not that crucial, hence the shortfall in May. We had a slight fear that this might happen but, regardless, we will certainly always give you the straight scoop on how we’re doing on fundraising, whether things are going well or not so well.
So, as of early June, we have raised about 49% of our total-year goal. Although technically ahead of the game by almost a month, we really need everyone’s help because it is not desirable to operate on a hand-to-mouth basis, and it is of great advantage not to have end-of-year worries about whether we’re going to make it or not. In other words, we do not want to cut it too close. If you’re walking too close to the edge, you may fall off.
Meanwhile: A big thank-you to everyone who has been contributing, whether in smaller amounts or in larger amounts. We have seen a number of new monthly recurring donors recently, and we are most appreciative of this. Donations that recur automatically on a monthly basis make things easy for the donor — you set it up once and you’re done –, and they also assure us of income for the future.
To help encourage donations, we are once again offering rewards to our donors who make a qualifying donation. In the month of June, we are offering the following incentive gifts:
- For a donation of $35 or more but less than $50:
Papacy and Freemasonry by Mgr. Jouin (an estimated $10 value)
- For a donation of $50 or more but less than $75:
Pope Honorius before the Tribunal of Reason and History by Fr. Paul Bottalla (an estimated $12 value)
- For a donation of $75 or more but less than $100:
Father Connell answers Moral Questions by Fr. Francis Connell (an estimated $24 value)
- For a donation of $100 or more but less than $300:
Tumultuous Times: The 20 General Councils of the Catholic Church and Vatican II and its Aftermath by Fr. Francisco Radecki and Fr. Dominic Radecki (an estimated $25 value — sells for over $90 in most places!)
- For a donation of $300 or more:
The Great Commentary of Cornelius a Lapide on the Four Gospels (an estimated $190 value)
Please make sure you give us your mailing address to receive your thank-you gift, else we cannot send it to you. If you do not wish to receive a gift with your donation (which helps us even more), please include a note/comment to that effect with your donation.
Act quickly because these gifts are only available while supplies last and only if we receive your donation in the month of June 2017! For more offer details & legal disclaimers, please see our June Donor Incentives Page here.
So, are you ready?
As a reminder: This fundraiser will stop once we have reached our goal of $50,000 for the year.
Keep in mind, too: The less time we have to spend fundraising, the more time we have available to blast Chaos Frank and the Vatican II Church! Your contribution helps to keep things running smoothly so we can focus on the important stuff rather than on worrying about how the bills are going to get paid. The time it took to put together this post could have been spent putting together another post against the Vatican II Sect or producing another podcast.
