Coexist: Mosque’s Call to Prayer intrudes on Francis’ Sermon in Cairo

Sometimes things just don’t go as planned. During a visit with clergy and seminarians in Cairo as part of his “Apostolic Journey” to Egypt, Francis on Saturday, Apr. 29, gave a homily that was interrupted by the Muezzin’s call to prayer at the neighboring Al-Nour mosque. Francis, noticing the untimely surprise, checked his watch and simply carried on.

Curiously, the Muezzin’s call came just as Francis read the words: “We venerate the Holy Cross, the instrument and sign of our salvation. When we flee the Cross, we flee the resurrection!”

Here is the video of the unwelcome auditory contribution:

The Islamic call to prayer can be heard to begin around 17 seconds into the video clip and ending around the 4:13 min mark.

The Francis Show in Egypt

Same old bunk, different location…

The Francis Show in Egypt

From Apr. 28-29, 2017, the man who likes to see himself called the “Pope of Peace” visited Egypt in order to preach the Gospel the Masonic doctrines of natural brotherhood, dialogue, and encounter to the people there. If you missed it, you didn’t — miss anything, that is. It was a rerun of the same old show, simply adapted to a different setting. Francis gave his usual speeches regurgitating insufferable, lowest-common-denominator Naturalist and ecumenical platitudes before an interreligious audience. Not surprisingly, Francis brought up his heretical concept of an “ecumenism of blood” once again.

A “Revolution of Tenderness”:

Francis delivers Video Message to TED Conference

No matter what happens in the world, you can bet your bottom dollar that “Pope Francis” (Jorge Bergoglio) has something to say about it. (Unless it’s the 100th anniversary of the death of Pope Saint Pius X, then Francis mysteriously falls silent.)

Thus, the “Pope” sent a video message to the 2017 TED conference in Vancouver, Canada. The meeting was held from Apr. 24-28 under the vacuous motto, “The Future You”, so it was clear that the world’s most talkative Jesuit would be tempted to contribute his own Naturalist tripe to the conference.

Anything but Sedevacantism!
Analysis of a curious Phenomenon

We have said a number of times on this blog that in the world of the semi-traditionalists, the blind are leading the blind. This is not just rhetoric, it simply describes reality. Whether it be people arguing that there is no point to having the correct diagnosis of a problem if one does not have the cure — as though a correct diagnosis were not at least the indispensable starting point for any remedial action; whether it be Christopher Ferrara promoting the idea of an “Anti-Catholic Pope”; whether it be one blogger’s argument that the Pope need not be submitted to “if he’s an idiot”; or whether it be “Bp.” Athanasius Schneider’s bizarre thesis that while being in union with the Pope one could nevertheless be in schism with Christ: No thesis is too absurd or anti-Catholic for adherents of the recognize-and-resist position not to entertain it as a possible explanation for the current state of the Church, as long as that thesis does not require them to hold the position that the Vatican II Church is not the true Catholic Church and its head is not a valid Catholic Pope (commonly known as “Sedevacantism”).

The Crucified Christ Betrayed:
The Novus Ordo Good Friday Prayer for the Jews

The Roman Catholic Church, in her loving kindness and care, having been entrusted by the Son of God with the mission to preach the Gospel and convert all men to the true Faith (see Mk 16:15-16), greatly desires the salvation of all people. Knowing that man was not made for this world, but for eternal beatitude in Heaven, she lovingly seeks to detach him from the state of sin he finds himself in and lift him up to the life of Faith and virtue through the grace merited by our Lord Jesus Christ, who declared: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

Francis’ homily of April 4, 2017

Bergoglio blasphemes again:
Jesus Christ “made Himself the Devil”!

Only the horns and the tail are missing:
The Vatican’s Blasphemer-in-Chief Jorge Bergoglio

The blasphemies of Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) are becoming ever more frightful. Just the other day we reported on his joke about the Most Holy Trinity (see here) during a private audience, and today we have another blasphemy to add to the ever-growing list: In his homily of April 4, 2017, Francis said that our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ “made himself the devil” for us!

To clarify right from the outset: Yes, he really said it (it’s on the Vatican web site).

Another trip, another blasphemous logo…

Official Logo for Francis Visit to Egypt: Christian Cross put on a par with Mohammedan Crescent

Antipope Francis, a.k.a. “Pope Sheikh”, has scheduled another one of his infamous apostate “apostolic” journeys abroad, this time to Egypt, from April 28-29. As for all other Beroglian trips outside Italy, this one too comes with its own official logo, which was just released by the “Catholic Church” in Egypt.

In the past, these logos have typically raised eyebrows, because they either looked effeminate, bizarre, or exaggerated the person of Francis to the point where in a number of cases the logo did not even include a cross or any reference to Jesus Christ (see, for example, the logo for the 2015 trip to the U.S.

Chaos Frank strikes again…

Francis: No Catholic Mass available? Just go to the Anglicans!

Every day we are being drowned in news about “Pope” Francis and the Vatican machinery. The incessant flood of information is becoming increasingly difficult for everyone to process, which means it is easy for stories to get missed.

Such was apparently the case with a real bombshell Francis dropped on February 26, 2017 while visiting an Anglican parish church in Rome. Virtually everyone seems to have missed it. What happened? During a Q&A session in which Francis was answering people’s questions off the cuff, he related an anecdote about ecumenical practice with Anglicans in his homeland of Argentina.

Bp. Fellay says “Cardinal” Müller wants SSPX to fight the Modernists! — An Inconvenient Reality Check

On March 3, 2017, during a visit to Poland, the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, Bp. Bernard Fellay, gave one of his famous “Rome update” conferences, in which he brings his followers up to speed on what’s happening in the neverending story of the doctrinal-canonical negotiations between the Vatican and the Lefebvrist SSPX. In essence, these sermons typically contain the same content every time, more or less. For details on this phenomenon, see our post on Bp. Fellay’s last major update in August 2016:

A new “New Mass”?

Vatican reportedly working on “Ecumenical Rite of Mass” for joint Worship with Protestants

What difference, at this point, would it make?

The times we live in are such that it is increasingly difficult to distinguish fact from fiction, truth from satire. A few days ago a rumor began to spread on the internet to the effect that the Vatican is working on drafting a new, ecumenical rite of “Mass”, one that can be attended by “Catholics” (i.e. Novus Ordos), Anglicans, and other Protestants, and that can also be concelebrated by “clergy” from these three groups. In other words, it would be a lowest-common denominator worship service that presents no doctrinal obstacle to Novus Ordos, Anglicans, or other Protestants (the Eastern Orthodox are conspicuously absent from this project).

“Cardinal” Coccopalmerio: Need to Revisit Notion of Sacraments as only either Valid or Invalid

Valid or invalid? Too black and white for Cocco!

The Vatican II Sect is an absolute circus. What passes for “Catholic theology” in the Modernist dens of the Vatican has the hallmarks of a tragicomedy.

Consider the latest from “Cardinal” Francesco Coccopalmerio, the president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts. In an interview conducted by Ed Pentin of the National Catholic Register, published Mar. 1, the curial “cardinal” said:

We say, everything is valid; nothing is valid. Maybe we have to reflect on this concept of validity or invalidity.

Setting the record straight…

Saint Thomas Aquinas and the Immaculate Conception

The theological authority of St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) is unsurpassed in the Catholic Church. He is the Universal Doctor of the Church. He is the patron saint of theologians, philosophers, academics, and of Catholic schools. His great learning and understanding were matched only by his radiant virtue, especially his chastity, and for this reason he is also honored with the title of Angelic Doctor.

Nevertheless, it is not uncommon to find in our day, especially on the internet, people who treat the sacred teachings of the Universal Doctor as little more than glorified opinions devoid of genuine authority.

Full Audio: Bishop Sanborn destroys Recognize-and-Resist Position

Memo to all adherents of the recognize-and-resist position: The have-your-pope-and-beat-him party is over.

On January 7, 2017, Bishop Donald J. Sanborn visited Brisbane, Australia, and gave a theological conference on Sedevacantism and its ecclesiological rival, the so-called “recognize-and-resist” position, whose main proponent is the Lefebvrist Society of St. Pius X. According to “recognize-and-resist”, often abbreviated simply as R&R, Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) and his five predecessors in the Vatican are to be accepted as real Catholic Popes, but — here comes the minor rub — each believer must sift their every act of teaching and governing for what may conform to Catholic Tradition in it and reject all the rest; otherwise, one runs the risk of becoming infected with their Modernist religion to the eternal peril of one’s soul.

A Letter of the Supreme Holy Roman and Universal Inquisition to all the English Bishops

It has been notified to the Apostolic See that some Catholics and even ecclesiastics have given their names to a Society established in London in the year 1857, ‘for promoting’ (as it is called) ‘the unity of Christendom;’ and that several articles have been published in the daily papers signed with the names of Catholics, in approval of this Society, or supposed to have been written by ecclesiastics in its favour.
