NOVUS ORDO WATCH SPECIAL REPORT

Adultery charges against Zimbabwean 'archbishop' politically motivated
"Details of a plot hatched by the CIO spy agency working hand in hand with
state media journalists have emerged with indications that the two worked
hand in glove in planning and exposing the adultery story involving
Archbishop
Pius Ncube. [(n)KOO-bay] was slapped with a $20 billion [USD 1.3
million] adultery lawsuit at St Mary's Cathedral a month ago after he was
served with the papers by the Deputy Sheriff, who was accompanied by a large
contingent of journalists and photographers from the state media.
"However, details have emerged that the journalists present during the
serving of papers were part of a well-orchestrated plot involving the CIO.
It has also emerged that the state media journalists and even President
Robert Mugabe had
information about the issue long before the story was broken."
NOW Comments: Last month highly compromising videos taken of a
man, purported to be "Abp." Ncube, with an allegedly married woman, were the
lurid centerpiece of a bombshell report airing on state-run television; stills
from the video later were included in the tabloid-like newspaper coverage.
While keeping in mind that Ncube has not admitted involvement and not
discounting the possibility of a staged event, digitally-manipulated images
or some other sort of optical trickery, there is
growing evidence of a conspiracy, first luring him to sin, and then
capturing proof of the act to assure his downfall. The government
also claims it can prove that Ncube infected both the wife and her husband
the HIV virus and that films exist showing he had illicit relations with ten
other women, one of who bore two of his children.
Unlike many of the conciliar
church scandals covered on our website, however, the focus here is less about
Ncube's guilt in this affair (if indeed there is any), than the motivation
behind the government's smear campaign. Although "Abp." Ncube's Vatican II
brand of "Catholicism" leaves much to be desired and his conduct, if
the allegations are true, is deplorable, he certainly must be
commended for standing up against the Jesuit-trained, Marxist dictator Robert
Mugabe on numerous occasions, whom he's only called an
"evil' man" leading a
"very violent" government. The
timing of the scandal hitting in mid-July was curious, to say the least,
as on July 1st Ncube told London's
The Sunday Times: “I think it is justified for Britain to raid
Zimbabwe and remove Mugabe.” Yet the beast that is Mugabe is a
member in reasonably good standing in the post-Vatican II church and has
been for decades. In fact, one study concerning his current opposition to
Ncube begins:
Robert Mugabe, the dictator of Zimbabwe, claims to be
a man of faith—and with some reason. He was born to mission-educated
parents and, like many Zimbabweans of his generation, he attended a
Jesuit school. He reportedly still attends weekly Mass in Harare. Martin
Meredith, a former
southern
Africa correspondent for the London Times and a biographer of Mugabe,
asserts that, at least in his younger days, Mugabe’s “mentor had been
the Catholic Church.”
Yet in his twenty-seven years of dictatorial rule, Mugabe has shorn
himself of anything his religious upbringing might have instilled. His
genocide in the 1980s against members of the minority Ndebele tribe; his
politically induced starvation of opponents; and the arrest, torture,
and sometimes outright murder of those who speak out against his rule
have all demonstrated a wanton disregard for what the
Church—particularly the Church in Zimbabwe—has taught its flock. “I was
brought up by the Jesuits and I’m most grateful,” Mugabe has said. “I
benefited from their teaching enormously.” In truth, the only thing
Mugabe seems to have kept from his Jesuit education is an austere
self-discipline, a virtue that he has ruthlessly distorted to keep
himself in power at the expense of his suffering countrymen. (From
Mugabe's war on the church)
The key to seeing the rotten-to-the-core corruption of
the conciliar church is that despite Mugabe having had a vicious,
inhumane, tyrannical reign spanning the better part of three decades,
which counts the torture and murder of tens of thousands of innocent
people as part of a criminal legacy, he still is a member of the
counterfeit religion, regularly attends its services and receives
communion from the hands of its "priests." Nothing, it would
appear, in his blood-stained résumé, disqualifies Mugabe from being a
Novus Ordo "Catholic"—nothing constitutes grounds for excommunication.
And yet he would not have been able to turn Zimbabwe into his own personal hell on
earth had not Paul VI, John Paul II and other "Catholics" in the Novus Ordo church
given him recognition and support early on in his drive to "liberate" it. According to an
article written earlier this year:
When [Mugabe] and other nationalists
fought against
Ian Smith’s Rhodesian regime, the Catholic Church, through the
Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace, CCJP, assisted them. The
CCJP protested against Smith’s discriminatory policies, particularly his
land policy, treatment of blacks as second-class citizens and human
rights abuses.
Mugabe then was happy that the church was on his side. Ironically, 27
years after independence, when the same church criticizes the same
policies that resulted in a wanton land grab and the abuse of human
rights, Mugabe turns paranoid.
“The message he is sending is that it was okay for the Catholics to
criticize Smith for human rights and other abuses, but that should never
be applied to him,” said a priest from the Chinhoyi diocese, Mugabe’s
home area.
During the colonial era, Mugabe was happy to tout to the world books he
published through the CCJP such as “The Man in the Middle” (1975) and
“The Civil War in Rhodesia” (1976), among others, but he was hurt when
his atrocities in Matabeleland were published by the same organization,
chronicling the massacre of thousands of people in the early 1980s
during the period referred to as the
Gukurahundi.
At the height of the liberation war, Mugabe’s family members, including
his sister Sabina, who is now the member of parliament for Zvimba South,
were granted refuge at Silveira House, a Catholic institution just
outside Harare.
The CCJP assisted the then 51-year-old Mugabe in 1975 to escape the
clutches of Smith’s Rhodesian forces. Key to his escape into Mozambique
were
CCJP members: Sister Mary Acquinah, who drove him at night to Ruwa, and
John Deary, who introduced him to Robert Gumbo, the man who eventually
facilitated his journey to Nyafaru near the border with Mozambique. This
made Sister Acquinah the target of Smith’s Special Branch and she was
forced to flee the country.
At independence, on April 18, 1980, Mugabe was sworn in as the prime
minister of the first black government with blessings from the Catholic
Church through the late Archbishop
Patrick Fani Chakaipa. (For a 1978 photo of Chakaipa, supporter of
the known mass-murderer Mugabe, posing with the future Benedict
XVI, click
here.)
In September 1988, Pope John Paul II visited Zimbabwe in what was seen
by many as the Vatican’s acknowledgement of one of their Catholic sons
as a morally upright leader.
Five years after Mugabe’s first wife Sally succumbed to a kidney ailment
in 1991, the Zimbabwean leader, with the help of the church, brushed
aside the moral blemish of tying the knot with his former secretary and
mistress Grace Marufu, with whom he had already had two children out of
wedlock.
The head of the Catholic Church in Zimbabwe at that time, the late
Archbishop Patrick Chakaipa, presided over the grand wedding, which was
attended by about 6,000 people, including African leaders. (From
Mugabe's turbulent priests
)
There are several inaccuracies here, whether deliberate
or not, that need to be addressed. First, calling Mugabe a "nationalist"
is a euphemism, to say the least; rather, he was a through-going
Communist, something that was known about him for years prior to his
takeover. Likewise distorted is what's written about Mugabe vis-à-vis
the Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace
(which,
as will soon be shown, championed neither justice nor peace, but
assisted giving credibility to the public image of a murderous Communist
thug, not to mention abetting his killing spree): Just as Mugabe's
ideological affiliation was well-documented before his coup succeeded, so
to his resorting to the most
unspeakable atrocities to cower populations into doing his bidding.
(Warning: Not for viewing by children or
those easily offended. The linked page contains graphically photographic
proof of some of worst examples of man's inhumanity to man, disfigurements
and deaths for which the word demonic truly fits. The photo of a
Mugabe murder victim displayed to the right is by far one of the least
shocking of the collection. Also, almost as an afterthought, there is
immodest attire in one of the pictures, though we guarantee the likelihood
of anyone being attracted is virtually nil!) These barbarous acts occurred
in the mid-1970s, while the CCJP was busy publishing Mugabe's books and
several years before Mugabe's criminal ascendancy. Significantly, the CCJP
report mentioned above that chronicles some of Mugabe's atrocities,
while substantially whitewashing the subject, also conveniently starts
it's examination with an entirely different set of atrocities
spanning the 1980s, thus deftly sidestepping the slasher film-type
killings Mugabe and his henchman were perpetrating at the same time the
CCJP was lionizing him as the savior of his people (a bit of free public
relations for which it's never issued a mea culpa as far, as we know). And
please note that this "humanitarian" group abetted the thug's escape from
the real justice he deserved for his butchery, thus allowing him to
run up his body count by continuing his criminal war against the people
and government of Rhodesia.
So, this is what "Abp." Pius Ncube finds himself up against and he can
"thank" his confreres in the Novus Ordo church for having created a
monster so imposing that he must beg the British cavalry to invade
Zimbabwe and vanquish the beast. And while that's not so bad an idea, on
such a day (if not much sooner) the "archbishop" would to well to reflect
long and hard about from whence came the beast, because it will be at that
moment he realizes that he himself is caught up in the same rotten
institution and that the fight against Robert Mugabe ultimately is a fight
against the conspiratorial forces that created him and that have
infiltrated and subverted the outer structures of the Catholic Church.
This could be a wake-up call for Ncube, otherwise, he ironically may end
up a "martyr" for the very same false religion that so ably boosted his
maniacal nemesis into power.

Emergency contraception (i.e., 'morning after pill') controversial at
'Catholic' hospital
"When a woman is sexually assaulted in Stevens Point, where
does she go for help? St. Michael's Hospital can provide care. However,
the hospital requires all women to take a pregnancy test before receiving
emergency contraception, as some Catholics think administering emergency
contraception may endanger pregnancy."
NOW Comments: The Catholic Church has recognized the moral
permissibility of hospitals to assist victims of such violations to expel
or destroy the invading , it has always been with the understanding that
this assistance can only occur prior to conception, after which
time new life has come into being and cannot be destroyed. (See, for
example, Fr. Charles J. McFadden, OSA, PhD, Medical Ethics,
Philadelphia: F.A. Davis Co., 1956, 4th ed., 149-150) But the
protocol for St. Michael's and other Novus Ordo hospitals is, after
administering a pregnancy test, to give the "morning-after" pill to rape
victims. What makes this problematic is that in cases where fertilization
has occurred, such emergency contraception becomes an abortifacient,
because it prevents the fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus. This
is compounded by the fact that such tests are not infallible, so there's
no way of knowing whether conception simply has been prevented or actually
terminated. (Sad to say, the Department of Health and Human Services under
the supposedly pro-life, pro-family values Bush Administration, promotes
emergency contraception (not only or even primarily in cases of sexual
assault, but for those who forgot to take their pill, didn't use birth
control, etc.) with as much vigor as the Clinton Administration, even
giving the link to Planned Parenthood's website! Further, it falsely
states the "morning after pill" is never an abortifacient, even when
preventing fertilization. For a refutation of HHS's contention, see
Lifesite's
Contraceptive or Abortifacient? page).

Below is a

somehow be said to reflect the Catholic Faith? The Catholic credentials
of the former are evident and can be attested to by noting that
Catholics, whether they be from the First Century or the 21st Century,
would immediately know what is being represented and respond favorably
how it's been rendered, while the latter, unable to make such a claim
and although admittedly a "unique" version, is found prominently
displayed on the website of an ostensibly Catholic diocese and has in no
way been censured by those controlling the Vatican. Yet the question
remains: Do they express the same faith?

But to sue is to deny their "legacy"
Commentator to Novus Ordo 'bishops': Sue the 'sexperts'
"Certain Catholic Church administrators hired sexuality educators who
taught Kinseyan values. This employment pattern held as well for some
selected psychologists who screened aspiring seminarians, many of whom
were rejected because they were said to be too sexually 'orthodox,' not
'tolerant' of homosexuality. Bishops sent pedophile priests for treatment
to therapists who accepted pedophilia as an 'orientation.'”
NOW Comments: This is all consistent with what came out in the
book, Goodbye, Good Men, and other exposés concerning the cesspool that is
the conciliar seminary system. Judith Reisman, the Jewish author cited
above who, from the standpoint of natural law, is taking the question of
pedophilia and who is best known for debunking the the idea that
Alfred Kinsey, the father of "sexology," was a great pathfinder toward
the better understanding of human sexuality, courageously challenged New
Order 'bishops' with her findings in 2002. So far, she's been ignored, but
is that really surprising? It's tough to sue someone they hired with the
most glowing accolades and whose concepts they largely still accept,
especially when defense attorneys would have a field day introducing
evidence and witnesses conclusively showing that many "dioceses" continue
to embrace, sanction and encourage "sexologolical" teachings not only in
seminaries, but from the pulpit, at retreats and seminars, in schools,
convents, mission fields, marriage and vocational offices, official
publications, and, of course, in the "reconciliation room." True, the
prospect of recouping some of the money lost in the mega-million dollar
clergy abuse lawsuits would be tempting for the "bishops," but it would
come at too dear a price: Admitting that a very big part of what they've
taught (or at least tolerated) for four decades is wrong, along with the
implicit admission that they've been leading their flocks down dangerous
and destructive paths (that is, to admit that they're false shepherds).
Therefore, no one should hold their breath until a class action suit is
announced, because it simply is not going to happen. Possibly, isolated
attempts may be made by a few of the more conservative Novus Ordo
"bishops," but that's the most to expect, if anything.

ROMA LOCUTA EST: The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes
and teaches that the matter pertaining to the law of the Old Testament, of
the Mosaic Law, which are divided into ceremonies, sacred rites,
sacrifices, and sacraments, because they were established to signify
something in the future, although they were suited to divine worship at
that time, after our Lord’s coming had been signified by them, ceased, and
the sacraments of the New Testament began; and that whoever, even after
the passion, placed hope in these matters of the law and submitted himself
to them as necessary for salvation, as if faith in Christ could not save
without them, sinned mortally. Yet it does not deny that after the passion
of Christ up to the promulgation of the Gospel they could have been
observed until they were believed to be in no way necessary for salvation;
but after the promulgation of the Gospel it asserts that they cannot be
observed without the loss of eternal salvation. All, therefore, who after
that time (the promulgation of the Gospel) observe circumcision and the
Sabbath and the other requirements of the law, it declares alien to the
Christian faith and not in the least fit to participate in eternal
salvation, unless someday they recover from these
errors.

Mexican Freemasons on the attack
"After decades of indirectly criticizing the Catholic Church through
friendly media outlets, the powerful Mexican Masonry has now directly
gone after Catholic bishops, accusing them of pretending to 'control'
Mexican politics by demanding the right to education and information.
The previous Mexican Constitution, because of Masonic influence,
stripped the Church of the right to own schools and communications
media. Recently, the Mexican bishops announced they would begin a
campaign to regain these rights."
NOW Comments: One need only look at the top news article from
July to see
that Freemasonry is well ensconced in Mexico's Novus Ordo church. The
chest-beating by the Lodge there must be viewed in that context when
evaluating the remarks above. As seen by the remarks quoted below in

regarded by Masonic leaders merely as at a stage leading to the real
goal, which is "the destruction
forever of Catholicism." But as Rome wasn't
built in a day, neither can it be toppled in a day. For now, it is
important to them that there appear to be a struggle going on between
the two forces. Certainly, it is also important to keep in mind that
while some "Catholic" leaders in Mexico are Lodge brothers, most of them
are merely dupes who are carrying out the Masonic agenda without
entirely grasping it and within this larger group, while all to some
extent have breathed in the noxious spirit of the Lodge as part of the
counterfeit religion, some have retained some of the Faith. Such
ones, few as they are, cannot but be seen as a potential problem by
Masonry, for they know from experience that wherever the Faith is not
fully eradicated, it has an uncanny way of rekindling. These scoundrels,
like their fathers before them, know that a
good priest is more dangerous to their cause than an entire army,
which is why they sought to kill them whenever possible. In the end more
than anything the Freemasons fear a revival of true Catholicism in
Mexico and a new Cristeros revolt that would this time rout them once
and for all.

Reality Check:
2. ¼At
this period, however, the partisans of evil seems to be combining
together, and to be struggling with united vehemence, led on or assisted
by that strongly organized and widespread association called the
Freemasons. No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now
boldly rising up against God Himself. They are planning the destruction
of holy Church publicly and openly, and this with the set purpose of
utterly despoiling the nations of Christendom, if it were possible, of
the blessings obtained for us through Jesus Christ our Savior.
21. ¼With
the greatest unanimity the sect of the Freemasons also endeavors to take
to itself the education of youth. They think that they can easily mold
to their opinions that soft and pliant age, and bend it whither they
will; and that nothing can be more fitted than this to enable them to
bring up the youth of the State after their own plan. Therefore, in the
education and instruction of children they allow no share, either of
teaching or of discipline, to the ministers of the Church; and in many
places they have procured that the education of youth shall be
exclusively in the hands of laymen, and that nothing which treats of the
most important and most holy duties of men to God shall be introduced
into the instructions on morals. —Pope

Good
news, bad news from Knight of Columbus convention
"Using language which has been included in their
resolutions for some years now, the
Knights of Columbus this week again resolved at their annual
convention to forbid pro-abortion politicians from attending their events.
The resolution forbids 'bestowing on [dissenters] honors or privileges of
our Order of any kind.¼'
However, said [Patrick] Korten [the Knights' Vice President for
Communications], 'the statement of policy is not used to expel men who are
already members.'"
NOW Comments: Korten defends allowing such men to continue as
Knights by saying: "They are our brother Knights. Out of brotherly love,
we wish to help them save their souls." There is no contradiction in
removing them from the group, while praying for their souls at the same
time. However well-intentioned, such thinking as that expressed by Korten
is manifestly wrongheaded, for such individuals must be regarded as public
sinners in the same way as someone caught stealing from the council
coffers or "romantically" involved with the wife of a brother Knight. If
publicly promoting abortion and "gay rights" aren't grounds for expulsion,
then the standards of the Knights have sunk to a new low. Of course,
considering that they're a once-Catholic group that's taken i
n the
"anything goes" approach of the Novus Ordo religion, this is not so
surprising. The confusion ensues because they're trying to mix such a
liberal policy with what remnants of real Catholic teaching they've
retained, when the two cannot be reconciled. Of course, when you have
Modernist Rome's Secretary of State "Cardinal" Tarcisio Bertone on hand to
use some classic
Clintonesque
doubletalk when reporters asked him if the Vatican would be issuing
guidelines concerning communion and pro-abortion candidates: "I don't
think that it is necessary to repeat new norms because the norms are well
explained in the doctrine of the Church, and those norms which deal with
the proper stance of individuals who want to receive Communion." What's
laughable to anyone who's followed the issue, like so much in the
counterfeit church, there are no norms except on scraps of paper:
Communion is or is not given to such politicians solely on whether
the "bishop" or "priest" in question is or is not sympathetic to the
pro-abortion position—that's the
real
Novus Ordo norm and if anyone believes otherwise, then they are living
in a fantasyland.

Fall from Grace: Buffalo church's demise caused by 'diocese's'
autodestruction
“A few short months ago, an anonymous man marched through
the front door of Artvoice’s editorial offices and presented
himself at the front desk. He reached into his pocket, withdrew a slate
tile, set it on associate editor Katherine O’Day’s desk and, with
gravitas, told her, 'These are falling off the roof of Transfiguration
Church onto the sidewalk, and if anyone gets hurt, now the blood is on
your hands.'
"¼Ever
since that day, we haven’t been able to shake the image of the small,
sharp piece of slate roofing tile—five by seven inches, weighing a total
of 11 ounces—falling from the roof and lodging itself firmly in the skull
of an unsuspecting passerby. The danger is very real. A tile like that,
falling from the lofty roof of the church, could kill somebody. How was
this allowed to happen? How did the solid, 110-year-old building, once
designated a local landmark by the city, decay to the point that it is
falling literally to pieces?"

including abandoned buildings. In this video the youthful Urban
Explorers protagonists find a way into Transfiguration past the "No

of the first things they do when they shut down a Catholic church to fully
deconsecrate it is remove the bells and so that's why I was totally
surprised to find the bells were still there, because technically that

A veritable "How To..." of occultism
No good comes from Harry Potter
"Harry Potter is a series of books and movies that place the child
smack-dab in the middle of the occult. Witchcraft is the 'means to the
end' for Harry. The story and the characters are developed and the plot is
moved along by witchcraft. All the while exciting an interest in and
giving a sort of 'how to...' course in the things forbidden by the First
Commandment. There is nothing good about that."
NOW Comments: The Harry Potter character, who more than dabbles a
bit in the occult, is the likeable hero of the book/movie series. The
target audience for the series is impressionable young people and a line
of Official Harry Potter paraphernalia including magic wand, wizard's hat,
action figure and role-playing game is now
readily avaliable. One of the main problems with Potter is that while
he may be seen to be upholding some good values in places, he achieves his
aims by resorting to the Dark Arts, so children could reason that "If a good guy like Harry
can use these things, why can't I?" And in any
fairly large city there are plenty of New Age shops whose staff and
customers will be more than happy to lead them astray, not to mention
books about Wicca and magick on the shelves of any well-stocked secular bookstore,
occult-themed rock groups and web pages
on diabolical sites. And unless parents teach their children that real
good only comes through a close union with Jesus Christ and His Church,
then they are leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of mischief, of which
Harry Potter is a prime example. The
USCCB reviewer gives a thumbs-up to the fifth and latest installment
of the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which
isn't at all surprising, since the other Potter films have received
positive reviews, as well. Order of the Phoenix is touted for having a
"meaningful subtext about the power of love and personal choice in doing
good rather than evil." Again, this is a less than persuasive argument,
given the context of what methods are being used to achieve the desired
results (see the first two articles linked below, in particular, to better
discern the fallacy of the USCCB's position).

Sneaking global taxation through the backdoor
Benedict XVI: New
'encyclical' to condemn 'socially unjust' tax evasion
Pope Benedict XVI is working on a doctrinal pronouncement that will
condemn tax evasion as "socially unjust", according to Vatican sources. In
his second encyclical -- the most authoritative statement a pope can issue
-- the pontiff will denounce the use of "tax havens" and off-shore bank
accounts by wealthy individuals, since this reduces tax revenues for the
benefit of society as a whole.
NOW Comments: If Benedict wants to write about tax evasion or
outright fraud, he'd better be sure to include those factors that provoke
citizens into violating the law. While in some cases it's simply a matter
of greed, but to think that that's the reason for all or even most tax
evasion is to ignore motives that are not so easy to dismiss as unethical,
such as: 1) The funding of abortion and other blatantly immoral,
anti-Christian activities; 2) The funding of a war that many argue is not
a just one; 3) The wasting of vast amounts of money in programs
best left to the private sector; 4) The funding of "entitlement programs"
that sap industry and creates a permanent underclass that is encouraged to
idleness, promiscuity and criminality; 5) Further extension of
"entitlement" funds to include illegal aliens, thus, in essence, robbing
law-abiding citizens to reward law-breaking non-citizens; 6) Penalizing
married couples by making them pay more as spouses than if they were
living together unmarried and filing separately; 7) Leveling of inherently
unjust and unjustifiable taxes, such as the inheritance tax; 8) Leveling
of taxes that are onerous to Catholics parents, such as those that force
them to fund public schools while they at the same time must pay
additionally to educate their own children in Catholic schools or at
home); 9) Serious reasons to question not government prudence, but
its utter profligacy (in the U.S., for example, the national debt
now approaches $9,000,000,000,000—that's nine trillion dollars);
and 10) Adding layer upon layer of taxes (federal tax, state tax, city tax,
direct tax, hidden tax, income tax, property tax, sales tax, etc. etc.) to
the point of going way past the average citizen's mere surplus
income and striking at his or her very financial sustenance. But the
encyclical is going to go well beyond just admonishing people to file
their taxes. In fact the gist of it, as far as it can be gleaned from this
article, is that the continuing globalization of the economy requires a
mechanism to assure a more just and equitable world economy. This sounds
like a euphemism for a Marxist redistribution of the wealth, which
involves the rich "First World" nations doing the "socially just" thing by
giving more to the poorer "Second World" and "Third World" nations. And
we're not talking here about volunteer relief or missionary efforts, which
have over the years raised a substantial amount of money to help the less
fortunate around the world. No, we're talking about a one-world government
apparatus, something that is evolving into that role through regional
consolidations, such as the European Union and African Union, but soon to
include other mergers including a proposed North American Union. And
that's not to mention the proposed funding spike for the world government
wannabe we already have—a United Nations tax. So, yes, Benedict XVI
could write something of importance about both taxation and the world
condition, but none of that is to be expected.
