Demonic possession on the rise
Exorcism in and out of Vatican II Church
/
NOW Comments: One of the constants in Catholic
history the has been the fact that whenever priests were sent into new
mission fields by the Church, they would be confronted by serious
demonic activity in that area and that as the Church established her
presence the level of such activity would greatly diminish. Since
Vatican II and its influence both in church and society, precisely the
opposite
effect has occurred: a significant
increase
in
demonic activities, including possessions. While the number of
priests (real and apparent) has dropped alarmingly, the number of
exorcists has risen sharply (as the video points out in the past 20
years the number of Conciliar would-be exorcists has grown astoundingly
from 20 to 350).
According to Fr. Gabriele Amorth, the former chief exorcist in Rome who
has used the traditional rite to cast out devils from thousands of
unfortunate souls, the
new
exorcism ritual is
"a farce. An incredible obstacle that is
likely to prevent us acting against the demon."
From what he describes it almost amounts to an
anti-exorcism
ritual, for among other things it is forbidden to be used in cases
where spells have been cast against a person, yet he estimates that 90%
of possessions involve just such witchery. In other words,
the disturbing truth is that diabolical possessions should continue
to multiply around the world, as there are simply so few true priests
left who use the proven effective traditional Latin rite of exorcism.
[Note: The video mistakenly refers to a 'Fr. John McKenna" performing an
exorcism, when, in fact, it was the traditional Dominican,
Robert
McKenna

More fallout on protesters to Obama's scandalous visit
Additional Notre Dame official to be questioned about
selective treatment of ND 88
"In the ongoing court hearings for the protesters
arrested during demonstrations against President Obama’s appearance at
the University of Notre Dame, a deposition of a university official will
further investigate claims of selective treatment of protesters."
But critics say it's not enough

Rome defends revised abuse rules
"The Vatican spokesman defended on Saturday a revised set of rules on
clerical sex abuse as an essential and lasting response to abuse cases,
but acknowledged the church will need to show long-term commitment if it
wants to eradicate the crime.”
Antichristian war is by-product of Vatican II
'Gays' march in once-Catholic Poland for equal rights
"Thousands of gays and lesbians
from around Europe marched through Poland's capital Saturday to demand
equal rights and more tolerance in this heavily Roman Catholic nation."
Hypocritical stand given often secular use of churches?
'Diocese' is irked by closed church being
listed in travel guide
"The inclusion of Saint Stanislaus
Kostka Church on the recently released '1,000 Great Places in
Massachusetts' list has raised the ire of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Springfield, which wants it removed immediately."
'Death of Communism' update
Russia agrees to spy swap with U.S.
"Gennady Zyuganov,
chairman of the (secretly ruling) Communist Party of the Russian
Federation, portrayed the FBI's exposure of the SVR spy ring as an
attempt by the USA to give Russia a 'black eye' and denounced the
'ex'-communists who staff the Russian government, like Prime Minister
Vladimir Putin, as "weak-kneed" in the face of the US government's
nefarious plans."
Stolen
or rescued?
Relic of True Cross taken from Boston Cathedral
“A janitor at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross entered the
church’s Blessed Sacrament Chapel early one recent morning and
made a startling discovery: A thief had pried open a panel
covering a small glass case and stolen a small piece of wood
venerated by Catholics as a fragment of the cross on which Jesus
was crucified."
NOW Comments: The article reports that the relic
could have been stolen to sell on E-Bay, but what if the person
taking it was a traditional Catholic sought only to remove it
from the clutches of a counterfeit church that has no legitimate
entitlement to it. Then while the act would still be theft in
terms of civil law, it's difficult to see how it could be viewed
as such by God, as the false sect masquerading itself as
Catholic has no true right to the relic.
Jaw-drop!
Belgian 'bishop' abused own nephew
The first resignation of a European bishop for abusing a child
relative came unexpectedly on April 23. At 73, the Bruges
bishop, Roger Vangheluwe, Belgium’s longest-serving prelate,
tersely announced his retirement and acknowledged molesting 'a
boy in my close entourage.' The boy, not named, was his own
nephew, now in his early 40s."
San Fran's 'gay'-friendliest church
Out of the parade―but not out of sight
"Most Holy Redeemer, San Francisco’s infamous ‘gay friendly’
parish, did not have a contingent marching in this year’s 'Gay
Pride Parade' as in years past, but the parish did operate and
staff a beverage booth (beer, wine, cocktails), and took out a
half-page ad in a pocket guide supporting the June 27 parade."
Video evidence of an empty faith
World Cup 'Mass' at Dutch Novus Ordo Church
NOW Comments: It doesn't get much more Novus Ordo than this.
Caught up in World Cup fever, a suburban Amsterdam church went all the
way in support of their beloved "Oranje" team, which was meeting Spain
in the championship game later that day: Goal with net behind the
pulpit. "Priest" in orange vestments. Congregation dressed like they're
at the game, some bearing painted faces. Sports decorations abounded.
Ball kicked down the center aisle while the "priest" played goalie! And
this coming just days after the third anniversary of Benedict XVI's motu
that was in part supposed to help eliminate such nonsense.
Now, in the aftermath of this, the local "bishop" later in the week
expressed his dismay over the spectacle, saying that “did not do justice
to the sacred nature of the Eucharist.” He went on to
suspend the football-happy "priest"
over protests by the
church-goers, who saw nothing wrong with the celebratory "Mass" (except,
of course, the outcome of the game, as Spain prevailed, 1-0).
Naturally, some hopeful sorts who still attend the
Conciliar Church will point to the suspension as proof positive that
Benedict "reform of the reform" is finally bearing fruit. The trouble is
that there was no Eucharist in that church to do justice to in the first
place, not if by Eucharist the bishop was talking about the Blessed
Sacrament. There was no valid consecration at that service…
none.
While many proofs can be used here, we'll simply rely on the
tried-and-true
Ottaviani Intervention, where footnote 29 questions the whether the
new "Mass's" altered and ambiguous setting of words of consecration
(note that here is being discussed Paul VI's original Latin edition, not
any of the various vernacular versions) is valid; while saying it could
be valid if offered by older priests,
"Will priests in the near future, who
receive no traditional formation and who rely on the Novus Ordo for the
intention of 'doing what the Church does,' validly consecrate at Mass?
One may be allowed to doubt it." Of course there are many more reasons
to have a positive doubt about the validity of the Novus Ordo "Mass,"
all the more so when it is said in the vernacular, where errors abound
(and that's without delving into the inherent difficulties of the new
rite of episcopal consecration).
Really, then, it is also the bishop who does not give the Blessed
Sacrament justice, because he believes in the validity of a false rite.
Anyone who accepts and upholds the new "Mass," as though it is something
worthy of veneration by Catholics, at best has a fundamentally flawed
perception of the reality of the situation and at worst is deliberately
trying to mislead them.
And, then, as one of our colleagues noted about the "priest's"
suspension, "Perhaps he will be able to return to his
'ministry' in time for the Euro Cup 2012. :-)"
Their
hope for 'Pope' to condemn Vatican II errors mere wishful thinking
The defenders of Tradition want the infallible Church back
"The self-demolition of the Church deplored by Paul
VI in the famous speech at the Lombard Seminary on September 11,
1974, is becoming clearer by the day. Even during the council
itself, Cardinal Heenan (Primate of England) complained that the
bishops had ceased exercising the office of the magisterium, but
comforted himself with the observation that this office was fully
preserved in the Roman pontificate. The observation was and is
false. Today the episcopal magisterium has ceased, and that of the
pope as well. Today the magisterium is exercised by theologians who
have shaped all of the opinions of the
Christian people, and have disqualified the dogma of the faith. I
heard an astonishing demonstration of this while listening to the
theologian of Radio Maria last night. With boldness and great
tranquility, he denied articles of the faith. He taught [...] that
the pagans to whom the Gospel is not proclaimed, if they follow the
dictates of natural justice and try to seek God with sincerity, will
go to the beatific vision. This modern doctrine goes back to the
ancient Church, but it was always condemned as error. But the
ancient theologians, while they held firm the dogma of the faith,
nevertheless felt all of the difficulty that dogma encounters, and
tried to overcome it with profound thinking. The modern theologians,
however, do not perceive the intrinsic difficulties of dogma, but
run straight to the 'lectio facilior,' sweeping all the doctrinal
decrees of the magisterium under the rug. And they do not realize
that by doing this they negate the value of baptism and the entire
supernatural order, our whole religion. Rejection of the magisterium
is widespread on other points as well. Hell, the immortality of the
soul, the resurrection of the body, the immutability of God, the
historicity of Christ, the unlawfulness of sodomy, the sacred and
indissoluble nature of matrimony, the natural law, the primacy of
the divine are other arguments in which the magisterium of the
theologians has eliminated the magisterium of the Church. This
arrogance of the theologians is the most visible phenomenon of
self-demolition."
'…dealing
with the hemorrhaging'
Young people fleeing Novus Ordo Church in record numbers
"Catholics in the U.S. have experienced the greatest
percentage point loss of members of any major faith or denomination,
according to a 2008 study by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public
Life. One out of 10 Americans say they are ex-Catholic. About 32% of
people raised as Catholics leave the religion."
'…a
total subversion of the liturgy'
The liturgical revolution and how it grew "After St. Pius X, little by little, the
so called 'Liturgical Movement' strayed from its original path, and came
full circle to embrace the theories which it had been founded to combat.
"All the ideas of the
anti-liturgical heresy — as
Dom Guéranger (photo)
called the liturgical theories of the 18th century — were now taken up
again in the 1920s and 30s by liturgists like Dom Lambert Beauduin
(1873-1960) in Belgium and France, and by Dom Pius Parsch and Romano
Guardini in Austria and Germany."
The revolution besieging the Catholic
Church as a result of successful Modernist treachery that reached its
culmination at the Second Vatican Council has now entered a new
millennium and continues unimpeded in its destruction of souls. Despite
the much-ballyhooed "new springtime" for the Church, the stark reality
is not growth, but utter
decay wherever one looks. What
has emerged is a pseudo-Catholic Novus Ordo (Latin for "New
Order") religion where the
outer structures of the Church have been seized by men who long ago lost
the Faith (or in some cases, never had it), along with hirelings who
take a stand if it's fashionable and doesn't affect their
pensions. While that counterfeit religion retains trappings of
Catholicism, in substance it is as empty as its churches, seminaries and
convents.
The purpose of this "News and Analysis" page to show not only that the
destruction is both ongoing and global in its reach, but, even more
importantly, that Modernist Rome is complicit in the havoc and has,
through words and deeds that bespeak errors in morals and doctrine,
established a veritable counter-magisterium. Thus the admonition our
Lord cited at the top of the page is very apropos, indeed: "By their
fruits you shall know them."
